Hull Urban Opera presents a try-out of Scene 1 of a new family opera "The Children of Beverley Gate". Beginning in the Ferens Gallery, the opera then takes to the city streets to tell the strange story of how some 400 year-old children helped a Hull teenager to process his grief after the death of his mother. Following its “brilliant and bonkers” “The Party", this opera has been created by HUO in collaboration with local adult and young volunteer performers and is going to be unlike anything you’ve experienced before.
