National Saturday Club – Art and Design

Our National Saturday Club, in Art and Design, is a collaboration between Ferens Art Gallery and the Institute of Arts at Hull College.

Created for 13–16-year-olds, the Club offers an exciting programme of practical workshops in art and design. It gives young people the chance to learn new creative skills, grow their confidence and meet like-minded people. All while building their art portfolio.

The Art & Design Saturday Club is free to join and runs during the college year, from October to June.

What to expect from National Saturday Club – Art and Design

• An exciting programme of practical workshops in things like drawing, printmaking, painting, mixed media, repeat pattern, ceramics and glass
• Access to professionally equipped studios at Hull College
• The opportunity to work with artists, lecturers and arts professionals from Hull College and Ferens Art Gallery
• Masterclasses with leading industry professionals
• The chance to take part in national events like the Summer Show – a nationwide public exhibition
