Children’s Summer Archaeology Club

This summer holiday, Hull Museums, Hull Minster, Whitefriargate Heritage Action Zone and Humber Field Archaeology are working together with archaeologist Jonathan Farley to deliver a series of sessions at their sites where children can explore what it’s like to be an archaeologist through fun hands-on activities.

The sessions are part of the Healthy Holidays Hull programme which is funded by Hull City Council and the Department for Education as part of the Holiday Activities and Food Programme. During the sessions, as well as taking part in lots of fun activities, children will get a free, healthy packed lunch.

Sessions are free but places are limited and must be booked in advance. Children must be accompanied by an adult for these sessions. Please only book a ticket for each child attending the session, accompanying adults DO NOT need to book a ticket.

The sessions are separate and don’t directly follow on from each other so it doesn’t matter if you can’t go to all of the sessions.
