Delve into
Claude Monet’s world of composition and colour, and experience his work as
never before with sound, smell and touch transporting you into his
artwork.
Monet’s The Petit Bras of the Seine at Argenteuil (1872) is presented at the Ferens Art Gallery in a
multi-sensory exhibition inspired by the artist and his work.
On
loan to the Ferens as part of The National Gallery Masterpiece Tour 2025–27, the Monet will be
shown alongside paintings from the Ferens’ own collection.
Flourish, a group of disabled and/or neurodivergent children and young people
from Hull, have created multisensory artworks including canvases inspired by
Monet. They have also contributed to an immersive soundscape, produced by local
music practitioner, Donna Smith.
