Mark Cooke – Chief Executive Officer, CASE Training

Mark began his career in Human Resources at United Biscuits before moving into a role supporting local businesses with grant funding—helping SMEs and entrepreneurs across the city turn ideas into job-creating enterprises.

For the past eight years, Mark has been part of CASE Training, a local charity that provides vital support to adults with learning disabilities across Hull and the East Riding. For the last five years, he has proudly served as CEO. His role is diverse and dynamic, involving collaboration with local authorities, the NHS, CHCP, businesses, families, and carers—all working together to create opportunities for greater independence.

Under Mark’s leadership, CASE has expanded to include over nine departments, each focused on developing skills that support independence and quality of life. A proud moment came in 2024 when Mark attended the Ferens Open Exhibition, representing a trainee whose artwork was selected for display—a powerful reminder of the creativity and talent within the CASE community.

Mark is looking forward to seeing this year’s entries from across the region and continues to champion inclusion, creativity, and opportunity for all.
