You’ll find blue badge parking on South Church Side (our street) or nearby on Silver Street.

There’s also parking at Market Place (on-street), Osbourne Street and Lowgate (multi-storey) or Wilberforce Drive (pay and display).

The toilets are upstairs, accessible by lift. There is a combined accessible toilet/baby change facility. (Please note: the toilets are currently closed for refurbishment.)

The nearest Changing Places toilet is in Trinity Market across the square (near the Lowgate entrance).

The museum is accessible for wheelchair users, with step-free access at the front of the building and a lift to the first floor. Access to the education room and lift is via a ramp.

We also have a manual wheelchair available to borrow.

We have some books and puppets on the raised balcony in the Victorian storytelling area. We can bring these down to the ground floor for you – just ask our friendly team for assistance.
