Entry aboard the Spurn Lightship is free. We advise booking in advance to avoid queues, especially at busy times. Walk‑up entry is available daily, but visitors without advance tickets may wait longer during peak periods.
Tickets to step aboard the Spurn Lightship are available to book now ahead of it reopening on Saturday 7 March 2026.
Opening hours
7 March until 31 October
Wednesday to Sunday - 11am – 3.00pm
Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.

By bus
Hull bus station (Paragon Interchange) is a 30-minute walk away.
Buses 1, 111, 13, 20 and 24 stop near Hull Marina and the Spurn Lightship.
By train
Hull train station is also situated 30 minutes walk away at Paragon Interchange.
With regular connections to York, Sheffield, Manchester and beyond.
By car
Being at the centre of Hull, we’re easily accessible by car.
You’ll find parking nearby on Wellington Street and Nelson Street. The Blackfriargate Car Park is also nearby.
By bike
